TWU is not liable directly or indirectly for students' property or students' personal liability. All residents staying in Trinity Western University residences, including international students, will be automatically enrolled in the TWU Tenant master policy purchased by TWU.
This policy includes coverage subject to terms and conditions for: personal belongings, personal liability coverage, and added living expenses.

At the beginning of each semester, all residents will receive an email similar to the below email. Please keep this email handy - it includes a Certificate of Insurance, instructions, and any details regarding your insurance.

The premium on this policy is fully earned and non-refundable. It is important that you review the Policy/Certificate of Insurance below to ensure the information is correct and we encourage you to review the policy wording to understand the coverage provided. Your coverage under this program will continue as long as you are a tenant at Trinity Western University during the 2026-2027 academic year.
If and when you move out of your University residence, all coverage under this policy will immediately cease. For a complete description of all Policy coverages, provisions, terms and conditions, limitations and exclusions, please refer to the Policy wording which can be downloaded at:

Different limits of coverage apply to different types of property and these amounts are shown in the Policy wording in the subsection entitled “Specific Limits of Insurance” found under SECTION I – PROPERTY INSURANCE; Please take note that coverage for flood/overland water is not provided under this Policy.
