Key Return Process

To ensure your keys are returned correctly and that you're not charged for a missing key, please follow the steps below. 

đź“© How to Return Your Keys 

  • Return your keys to your RA in the original envelope provided at check‑in. 

  • If you no longer have your original envelope, new envelopes are available in your building's lounge or the After Hours drop box by the Campus Store Cafe.

🏢 Building‑Specific Information 

  • Jacobson and Skidmore residents: Each resident was issued two keys. Please ensure both keys are returned. 

⚠️ Important Reminders 

  • Do not place Student Leader keys or mailbox keys in the same envelope as your housing keys. They get dropped off at the Student Life / Service Hub front desk

  • If you are leaving campus after office hours, please use the After‑Hours key drop box located next to the Campus Store CafĂ©. 

  • Keys not returned after leaving campus are charged a missing key fee of $50/key, and if returned within one month of departure, the charge is reduced by $25/key.
