Your checkout date depends on the term length you have selected.

Please review the Housing Dates and Deadlines for your Check Out and Check In Times

Summer Session (for those who have chosen the full summer term) ends on August 19th at 10 am.

If you are checking out of your room, please complete the following steps:

  1. Clean your room!
    • A checklist will be posted on your door of what you will need to clean. Failure to properly clean and reset up the room will result in fines of various amounts
    • Every resident is expected to clean their area and help clean the common spaces.
    • Rooms must be rearranged to their proper setup as outlined on the housing website. If rooms are not set up correctly, are missing furniture, or have extra furniture, a fine will be applied to your account.
  2. After you have finished cleaning your space, please fill out a room condition report so that we can ensure we appropriately assess your spaces.

  3. Each resident is expected to sign out with the Housing Assistant after completing their cleaning. This is essential; if you do not sign out or clean your area, a fine will be applied to your account.

  4. Housing keys need to be returned in an envelope to the Student Life office or the after-hours drop box near the Campus store café.

  • If we do not receive your keys, $50 will be charged to your student account.

 Please note

  • Any damages found in the room will be charged to the residents of the room or apartment. For damages found in the common areas of the apartment, the charges will be equally distributed among the residents
  • If the keys are not returned on the move-out date, Students will be charged a $50/key replacement fee

Full summer term students who didn’t apply for the Summer Extended stay must leave their room by 10 am on August 19th after cleaning their apartment and completing the check-out form online.

For those residents who applied for the Summer Extended stay, additional move-out information will be provided individually as we intend to allocate you to your Fall assigned room.
