Degree Completion: New Student Information Guide

Body

Welcome To TWU!

Here are a few important things for you to note!

TWU Login Info

The most important step is the first one! Before you can access TWU Services and Resources, you will need to set up your TWU account by following the instructions: CLICK HERE.

The above link also includes a list with links to resources, including Moodle (the online platform that holds your course content)!

Please read through all of the information on this page very carefully to prevent issues with login and ensure you are able to easily access important resources.

Note about Moodle:

If you are able to login to Moodle but do not see some or all of the course(s) that you have been registered for listed (it may take up to a day after being registered for your courses to show up), it may be because the instructor still has the course hidden. The instructor must unhide the course in order for you to see it in Moodle. If the course start is two or fewer weeks away and you still do not see your course, you can submit a helpdesk request to our Moodle team here to inquire as to why it's not showing up.

Student ID Number:

Your student ID number is provided in the email you'll receive when you set up your TWU account. However, if you forget it at any point, it can be viewed here.

Student ID Card:

As a student of TWU, you will receive a Student ID Card.  Please use this link to request your ID card:

How to Contact Us and Get Help!

At TWU GLOBAL we aim to service you well and make it quick and easy to get the help you need. We offer an online ticketing system where you can submit general questions and inquiries, as well as ask your advisor questions.

Please choose Student Inquiries for all non-advising related questions. If you have a question specifically for your advisor, choose Academic Advising and then select your advisor's name. Please note that you will have to login after selecting these forms (with the same login information you use for Moodle). If you have not yet setup your TWU account, you can submit a request by using the General Public Assistance form (which doesn't require you to sign in).

Registration:

Once you have set up your TWU account (and waited an hour) you will be able to login to view your Course Schedule. If you need to make any changes and/or have questions regarding your registrations, please contact our online ticketing system and choose Academic Advising or email your Program Advisor

Drop/Withdrawal:

You will receive an email approximately two weeks prior to your first course to serve as a course reminder, including drop/withdrawal dates. For courses under 6-weeks, the drop deadline is the first day of the course for a full refund. After the first day of the course there is no refund.

Textbooks:

Textbooks and course materials information can be found at Trinity Western Outfitters or on the Degree Completion Moodle Page (this resource will be available to you once your student account is set up) Please refer to your Course Schedule if you are unsure of your section number.  We suggest you order your books early to ensure you receive them on time.

Payment:

Once you have set up your TWU Student Account (and waited an hour) you will be able to login to view your Financial Statement.

There are several methods available for making a payment to your student account.  The charges on your student account can include, but are not limited to, tuition, student and service fees.

Please click on Make a Payment  for payment methods and instructions.
