Editing Images

Wordpress has some basic image editing options avaiable with the Media Library.

Start by clicking on an image in the Media Library.

  • Metadata: On the image page, to the right of the image, you can edit various metadata, such as the image title, file name or the alternative text. It is strongly recommended to ensure that all images displayed on your website have alternative text. This will provide the most accessible experience for all users. It's also recommended to add an image credit. Note that you can replace an image. This might be particularly useful if your image is used across multiple pages or posts.
