Best Practices
-
Keep menu titles short to avoid overcrowding the menu bar.
-
Limit the number of top-level menu items:
-
Aim for about 4 items across the top menu.
-
Use dropdown menus for additional items.
-
Avoid having too many items, which can lead to a "+" button appearing and potentially hiding menu items.
-
Organize your menu logically to help users navigate your site easily.
-
Regularly review and update your menu structure as your site grows.
