Housing Withdrawal & Refund

Withdrawing BEFORE moving in
Withdrawing AFTER moving in

This type of housing withdrawal means you are ending your residence agreement early (moving out before your contract ends).

Please submit a Housing Withdrawal Form if:

  1. You’re still intending to be a TWU student, but not living on campus
  2. You’re leaving TWU entirely

⏰ When should you withdraw?

  • As soon as you decide you no longer want to live in TWU housing
  • Especially important if you’ve already been assigned a room or roommate
  • Submit your withdrawal as early as possible to reduce charges being applied to your account

💵 Housing Refund Schedule

Refunds depend on how many weeks after move-in you withdraw:

Week Refund
Week 1 90%
Week 2 80%
Week 3 70%
Week 4 60%
Week 5 50%
Week 6 40%
Week 7+ 0%

⚠️ Important:

  • Students will be charged per swipe and flex dollars used if they choose to withdraw before Add/Drop.

⚠️ After Add/Drop:

  • ❌ No meal plan refunds

✅ Key Takeaways

  • Submit your withdrawal as early as possible to avoid paying for a full meal plan
  • Meal plans are strictly non-refundable after Add/Drop
