You are now ready to start your first video project. Drag and drop your your media files directly into Clipchamp (in your web browser). The Timeline gives you a linear view of all media clips used in your video project. Use the Scroll Bar (located under of the Timeline) to move backwards and forwards. Use the Zoom Tools (above the Timeline) to help you see specific clips in your Timeline.
Click and drag the Playhead Indicator to navigate forward or backward in your video project.
Use the Play Controls (located just below the Viewer Window) to play your video.
To split a clip, move the Playhead Indicator to the position where you would like to split the clip. Click the Spit button (or type the 'S' key).

Add a transition (such as Cross fade) between two clips by dragging the clips next to each other and clicking in between them.
After you click Add transition, transition controls will appear to the right side of Viewer Window. You can adjust the duration of your transition (how long it takes to transition between the two clips) using the Duration slider.
Adjust the appearance of your video (crop, zoom, orientation etc.) using the tools found to the left of the viewer window.
You can find more editing tools to the right of the viewer window. Click to expand these to see more options.
