Information about Meal Plans

If you are living in Residence, a meal plan is mandatory. This Meal Plan will give you access to the Langley Campus all-you-care-to-eat (AYCTE) Cafeteria located in the Reimer Student Centre. The all-you-care-to-eat (AYCTE) plans allow you to enjoy limitless options for breakfast, lunch, snack-time and dinner. Meal time with the AYCTE program is about much more than just great food. It’s a chance to recharge, catch up with friends, and have fun! With a variety of choices for plans you can choose from an all-access plan to blocks. The dine-in meal plan allows you to “swipe” into the dining facility using your Student ID Card and enjoy all-you-care-to-eat. Those who commute to campus have the option to buy a Meal Plan in Blocks as well! 

If you are a resident, the meal plan is mandatory. In the housing application, you will need to select which Meal Plan you would like to be placed on. 

*Note that the Apartment Base Meal plan is available only for FRASER APARTMENTS, MCMILLAN APARTMENTS and other apartment style (4 people) pods with a kitchen.

If you are a commuter (living OFF campus) you have the option to purchase a meal plan HERE. The charges will be added to your student account.

Meal Plan charges are per semester for Fall and Spring only. You can start using your meal plan on the first day in residences (dinner), and the last day to use your meal plan will be the last day of the Residence agreement term (lunch). On April 25^th, we will have complimentary pastries and coffee outside the Main Café(breakfast)

Your meal plan will not work during the Christmas Break or the Summer sessions and if you are a Resident.

Your Dining Swipes will expire at the end of each semester and the Flex Dollars will expire at the end of the Spring semester.

Flex dollars allow you to purchase items at Starbucks, Bookstore Café, Rooted, and the Lower Café. The Flex Dollars are loaded onto your Student ID Card.

If you are a resident, Flex Dollars are included in your Meal Plan.
