SPRING 2025

To stay in Housing on Campus at TWU, you must accepted as a current student that will be beginning classes in the upcoming semester at least 9 credit hours. 

You must also be in good financial standing with the university (No AR hold on your student account).

Housing Application opens in your Student Portal for all students.

Eligibility: Apartments

Apartments [Fraser & McMillan] are specifically for upperclassmen students who have at least 57 credit hours or are 21 years of age, and are looking for the environment of living in an apartment building as a tenant.

All apartments have constant open co-ed hours, but do not allow opposite-gender sleeping arrangements.

This option will show in your application if you are eligible

Apartment Base Meal plan is mandatory

 

Once you complete your Housing Application, you will wait for your housing offer if available.

Eligibility: Dorms

GRADUATE Students (Masters Level):

Single room dorms [DeVries] with kitchen are available.

Base meal plan is mandatory.

 

UNDERGRADUATE Students:

Dorms: Fraser, Douglas, Skidmore, 

Skidmore pods (single rooms) with kitchen availability,

Jacobson pods with kitchen availability,

Robson  with kitchen availability

Dorm housing is typically split up into areas that have between 15-20 people, with double occupancy rooms, that are organized around a small common lounge and assigned a Resident Assistant (student leader). All lounges contain couches, a fridge, a sink and a cupboard nook, and are a great place to visit with friends, make a snack, or study.

Meal plans are mandatory:

  • Jacobson and Robson residents may downgrade their Silver plan option to a Jacobson and Robson special meal.
  • Skidmore pods (single rooms) may downgrade their Silver meal plan to a regular Base plan.
  • Silver meal plan is mandatory for other dorm residents.

Undergrad housing is planned for students under 26 years old. 

However, there could be a appeal submitted with the consent of the roommates to have a mature student staying with them.
