You are eligible to apply for a Spring Extension (April 25th to April 28th) if you are:
- A Graduating Student
- In Summer Housing
- A PYP Student
- A student with an exam on the 25th
If you are one of the above listed students and want to stay until April 28th, please APPLY for the Spring Extension.
If you are not one of the above listed students, but need to stay on campus due to:
- Travel Studies
- Global Projects
- Athletics Trips
Please contact your group leader/ professor / coach and have them send an email to olena.korotysh@twu.ca that includes the Student Names and IDs as well as the dates of when you are required to stay on campus.
More information regarding where you will be staying during your extension will be sent to you in your TWU email on April 17
Those approved for the Spring Extension will still need to follow the below check out process.
- Your RD will come by your room on April 25th-April 28th to make sure that you are already packed and ready to go.
- Clean your room!
- A checklist will be posted on your door of what you will need to clean. Failure to properly clean and reset up the room will result in fines of various amounts
- Every resident is expected to clean their area and help clean the common spaces.
- Each resident is expected to sign out after completing their cleaning with their RA. This is essential; if you do not sign out or clean your area, a fine will be applied to your account.
- Rooms must be rearranged to their proper set up as outlined on the housing website. If rooms are not set up correctly, are missing furniture, or have extra furniture, a fine will be applied to your account.
- After you have finished cleaning your space, please fill out a year end room condition report so that we can ensure we appropriately assess your spaces.
- You will need to sign out with your RD after completing your cleaning. Failure to sign out will result in a fine.
- Housing keys need to be returned in an envelope to Student Life office or the after-hours drop box near the Campus store café. Student leadership keys go in separate envelopes and mailbox keys go back to the Campus Store for a refund (due May 6).
- If we do not receive your keys, $50 will be charged to your student account.
