I’ve updated my SIN number in the system but it’s not visible in the tax form.
Once you update your SIN/SSN using this link: https://www1.twu.ca/profile it should reflect on your tax forms almost immediately. If it doesn’t do this, file a ticket with the Service Hub

Hello, I noticed a difference between the amount I paid for tuition and the amount on my tax form. Could you please explain the reason?
Please file a ticket with the Service Hub, and we’ll be happy to review and resolve this issue for you.
I paid a deposit of CAD $10,000 and later canceled my studies, but I can’t find any tax form. I made the deposit in 2022 and canceled my studies in 2023. I need a tax form for my tax return.
Tax receipts are only issued for tuition paid toward registered courses taken in a given calendar year. In this case, since no courses were attended in 2023 due to the cancellation, no tax receipt is provided. The applicable amount of your deposit will be refunded to you as part of the cancellation process.
I didn’t take any courses in 2024, but I paid a CAD $18,000 deposit in 2023. Shouldn’t I receive a 2024 tax form for this payment? Please refer to my attached LOA. Thank you for your assistance with this.
Deposits or payments are applied to your tuition costs for the year in which you begin taking courses. If you haven’t taken any courses in 2024, your payments will be credited to the year you start attending courses, and a tax receipt will be issued for that year.
