Refund Information
When you drop or withdraw from a course, you may be eligible for a tuition credit. The amount credited will depend on the date you withdraw from the course. Please select your program from the options below to view the applicable credit schedule.
If you plan to withdraw from a course or fully from TWU, note that some deposits and fees are non-refundable. This includes:
- UG Admission Deposit
- Housing Deposit Pre-Payment
- International Student Admission-Tuition Deposit: (Refunded only in cases of study permit or visa denial with documentation; $250 administrative fee applied)
- Student Fees if withdrawing after the census date of a course (e.g. Course Fees, Infrastructure, Technology & Activity Fees, Student Association Fees)

Tuition Appeals
If you have withdrawn from a course, eligible refund amounts are calculated based on the above Refund Schedule and will be applied to your account. A tuition appeal will be considered only when new and substantial supporting documentation can be provided. The Financial Appeals Committee meets every 1-2 months.
The decision of the Financial Appeals Committee is final.
